Our Schooner is the United States' largest wooden passenger vessel. Originally built in the Chesapeake she is the last of the three masted, cargo Schooners built in the age of sail. She is a beautiful classic sailing schooner built in 1900. We operate solely under power of sail as much as possible, to keep the authentic feeling of the wind and the water, although we do have auxiliary engines in case of emergency or lack of wind. We carry on board a selection of fun small boats for rowing and sailing for passengers use, and have a gourmet chef on board to feed you well! We are dedicated to offering an authentic, fun and unique experience to our customers. Passengers are welcome to participate in operating the vessel as much or as little as they would like. We carry 9 crew who are available at all times to keep comfortable, safe, and well cared for.
